About Mille-Feuille Fashion
Mille-Feuille Fashion 以創新的科技結合時尚,重新演繹各個藝術運動 (Art Movement)和基礎元素。 我們採用了立體打印(3D Printing)先進技術,突破以往首飾在設計、生產上的限制與框框,務求創造出獨特的視覺衝擊。
Mille-Feuille Fashion combines the innovation technologies with fashion accessories to re-execute the art movement, and the basic graphic design element. We adopt advanced 3D printing technologies to go beyond the limit of the current fashion accessories manufacturing and design process. We hope to create a stunning and unique fashion accessory collection, with great visual impact.
How it got the name – Mille-Feuille Fashion
法式千層酥 (Mille-Feuille) 是一種法國起源,由許多層不同材料疊成的甜品,這好比3D打印技術一層一層的製作過程。 經過時代的變遷,法式千層酥經歷著不同的變化和革新。 我們期望Mille-feuille Fashion跟法式千層酥一樣成為經典,以不同的科技、技術和材料創造出前衛的時尚首飾。
Mille-Feuille is a classic French dessert which have been developing throughout history. It is make using a variety of ingredients and consists of many layers. Therefore, it is a great metaphor that represents our 3d scanning fashion accessory brand. We hope Mille-Feuille Fashion can be a classic brand by combining the innovation technologies with fashion accessories.
Designer : Sam Wong Hok Pan
Sam Wong Hok Pan 是3D打印首飾品牌 Mille-Feuille Fashion 的創辦人,畢業於香港理工大學工業及產品設計系。畢業後曽任職意大利Alessi 家族於香港創立的設計工作室。在設計理念上,Sam 受到意大利的簡約設計風格所薰陶,並以幾何元素,藝術運動及歴史作為品牌靈感,結合現代科技3D 打印技術打造出不同風格的設計。
Sam希望可以在各個設計範疇作出嘗試,不局限於產品設計上。在首飾品牌方面,除了發展 Mille-Feuille Fashion 以外,他更與同伴創立另一水泥工藝首飾品牌 C3CraftStudio,探索水泥的可發展性、多樣性和變化。 Sam 的設計曽獲得意大利 Bronze A' Design Award,並於 Museum of Design MOOD 展出。他期望讓世界更多人認識和認同香港的設計,也希望跟其他設計師有不同跨界別合作。
Sam Wong Hok Pan is a Hong-Kong-based fashion accessories designer, also the founder of the 3D printing fashion accessories brand Mille-Feuille Fashion. He is a graduate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University - BA(Hons) in Design (Industrial & Product Design). Sam worked for a design studio established in Hong Kong by Italy’s Alessi family. The design style of Sam is strongly influenced by Italian minimalist design. He draws inspiration from the geometric element, art movement and art history, combining them with 3D printing technologies nowadays.
Sam hopes to explore different design categories in addition to product design. Apart from the Mille-Feuille Fashion, he has also co-founded the concrete craft fashion accessories brand – C3CraftStudio. He wishes to explore the possibility and variety of concrete.
Sam’s design has won Italy’s Bronze A’ Design Award and exhibited in Museum of Design MOOD. He hopes to raise understanding and recognition for Hong Kong Design. He also wishes to crossover with designers from all over the world.
